The Gambia Press Union signed a one-year contract with the Women Journalists of The Gambia

The Gambia Press Union (GPU) yesterday signed a one-year contract with the Women Journalists of The Gambia (WoJAG) for the association to implement the ‘Breaking the Gender Barrier’ project on behalf of the GPU. The contract was signed at the Union’s secretariat in Fajara.
The project is funded by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) at a tune of $22,000. It aims at creating a newsroom environment where both male and female are at the same wavelength
